Becoming an ‘ostomist’ can be pretty daunting - we know because we have all been through the same experience. That is why we wish to introduce ourselves.

We are a group of over one hundred ostomists from all walks of life. We are here to help all ostomy patients and carers. To lend an understanding ear, to practical help and friendship. We have get-togethers and social activities on a regular basis as our members and wishes want us to.   We also support local ostomy gear exhibitions and have fundraising activities when we have something to help.

The aim of our group is to help and support each other as needed as well as making new friends and having fun - it’s amazing how good it can be just to meet someone who really understands what you are experiencing.
